CRecTech
CRecTech is a technology startup that develops and manufactures biogas/methane reforming catalysts used by sustainable chemicals and fuel production industries. Biogas is a renewable bio-resource of methane with CO2 as main impurity (> 30% by volume). Conventional reforming catalyst deactivates when exposed to CO2, necessitating additional biogas upgrading step for CO2 removal/capture, which contributes to increased expenses. CRecTech developed a novel catalyst coating for biogas reforming that greatly enhances its resistance against carbon and CO2 poisoning, and is capable of breaking down and utilizing CO2 in biogas. This breakthrough enables a revolutionary one-step biogas reforming process, converting CO2-rich biogas into low-carbon hydrogen and syngas for green methanol in a subsequent process. The concise process, developed by CRecTech which converts both greenhouse gases (CO2 and CH4) in biogas to green methanol, is considered as the most sustainable way of mass-producing green methanol to cope with the increasing methanol fuel demand.

MeasureAI makes novel, low-cost, reusable and highly sensitive real-time gas sensors. We use a patented a novel method of making various unique of gas sensors. Our sensors are non-specific and the gases or gas mixtures are identified and quantified based the unique changes in the electrical properties of an array of sensors upon gas exposure. Hence our sensors can detect and quantify vast spectrum of gases and gas mixtures. MeasureAI is a spin off company from NUS and incorporated in March 2023. We were incubated under NUS GRIP and successfully graduated, securing an investment of SGD 100K. We got validated by the expert GAP panel and secured SGD 200K as grant. We have market validated our solution for quality assessment of flavour and fragrance manufactures for which we received a letter of intent, grading of Manuka Honey based on the MGO (Methyl Glyoxal) levels and real-time monitoring of the critical hospital environments.

NautiSense has developed the concept and prototype of iBot™ a maritime conversational bot that can automate digital tasks as well as provide recommendations to decision makers upon being asked based on any particular scenario. The iBot sits on top of a Maritime Large Language Model (MLLM) that is being built by the company which is a repository of diverse datasets from vessels, ports, flag states, class and other sources of key maritime data.
Real-time data from the port such as loading and unloading progress of berths, estimated berth availabilities, estimated loading and unloading times for fixed arrivals and departures of vessels, etc. would be ingested into the MLLM using port-side APIs. Vessel data such as its route, current and historic voyage speed, fuel consumption correlated with the speed, emissions correlated with the speed, engine condition, generator condition, and other key vessel performance indicators will also be ingested for participating vessels either through APIs or data entry by the captain or chief engineer. The two sets of data will be analysed by the iBot as an automated or triggered process to match vessel arrival with berth availability.
Navigandi
Navigandi Orbis is a high precision Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) capable of measuring both the vertical and horizontal movements of the maneuvered vessel in real-time. This information is sent to the Navigandi Pilot which is a navigation software that shows all the relevant navigation information for the maritime pilot including: distance to the obstacles; bathymetric overlays; berthing speed, optimal navigation routes and so on. Aimed with this technology, the conscientious awareness of the maritime pilot is enhanced during the maneuver, increasing the navigation safety. In addition, the navigation data generated may also be stored in the cloud and made available for the port authorities or exchanged with tugboats. Such information is valuable for maneuvering risk assessments; dredging intelligence; draft improvements and so on.
