Pharos Marine develops zero-emission hydrogen-electric propulsion systems designed for small to mid-sized vessels. Our core technology integrates a high-efficiency rim-driven electric thruster with a marine-optimized hydrogen fuel cell and smart Balance of Plant (BoP). This system overcomes the key limitations of conventional marine engines – noise, vibration, high maintenance, and emissions – while offering greater cruising range and energy efficiency compared to battery-only systems. With a modular, standardized design, our outboard motors enable quick installation, retrofitting of existing hulls, and simplified certification. We also develop portable hydrogen refueling infrastructure to support clean maritime operations, especially in remote coastal and island regions. Pharos Marine empowers shipbuilders, governments, and operators to accelerate the transition toward sustainable marine mobility.
